Wow! Look at the time! So...erm...EARLY! haha!
I do another "quickie" for this blog...keke.
Finally it's the weekends, I applied for leave on Monday, that will mean a long weekend for me..All the way to Wednesday. Finally handed in my reservist letter to my boss, he's not really happy about the idea of me going back to camp for 3 weeks. After much explanation, he also had no choice but to give in. He can't win the Singapore government...haha.
Nothing much to describe in the office...everything is as per normal. I was like trying hard to get people to go for KTV. Most of my friends refused. Maybe they scare my singing too good cover theirs...haha! In the end, found a friend to go with me. We went to cineleisure K-Box. It's been a while since I go to K-Box. Normally I hang out at partyworld. The place is quite cram, a very tiny room. The microphones are still ok but not fantastic.I sang all the songs that I wanted to sing.
Got to practise my singing, I usually like songs that require to use "fake" voice to sing. I tried practising Wang Lee Hon's songs. Like "Forever Love" and my now favourite song, "Ni Bu Zai". One of the best songs that I ever heard. This is my friend's first time hearing me sing, haha! Think she is quite stun by my vocals.
I always prepare myself for KTV sessions. I would normally do the following to get my best performance.
1) Don't eat anything before KTV, if too full, you cannot bring out your voice.
2) Eat a "herbal sweet" before KTV session start. This will give a cooling effect on the throat.
3)Don't order soft drinks with a lot of gas.
4) Don't start with difficult songs right at the beginning of the session. Dedicate those easier ones, so as to warm up the voice.
Going to be 3am soon...
Better go sleep...
